Meet Valedictorian Brandon O'Brien
The student with the highest GPA in Bayport-Blue Point High School's class of 2011 will attend Ivy League school.
Valedictorian Brandon O’Brien said he worked extremely hard in high school to earn the top spot in his class. He is president of the Ecology Club, vice president of National Honor Society and co-captain of the Science Olympiad Team, all while taking 10 AP classes.
O’Brien will join Ivy League and attend Cornell University in the fall to study natural resources.
“I hope to find work in the field of biology or ecology, studying ecosystems to find a solution for human made problems,” O’Brien said.
