Meet Salutatorian Alexandra Harenberg
The class of 2011 student who earned the second highest GPA says keeping busy is her key to success.
Alexandra Harenberg, Class of 2011 Salutatorian, has also taken 10 AP classes while maintaining an impressive extracurricular life. She played varsity field hockey, she was a member of Tri-M Honor Society for her involvement in music and she played the saxophone in band, jazz band and pit orchestra.
“I think everything I do after school helps me in school also,” she said. “I feel like I have the best grades when I’m busy. Maybe I just work well under stress but it keeps my time organized.”
Harenberg is going to the University of Virginia in the fall for biology, but said she is unsure what her future holds.
