Sayville Crime Report: Heavy Week Of Crime

A list of recent police activity in Sayville and West Sayville as reported by the 5th Precinct.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Sayville and West Sayville. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests

  • On Feb. 14, James Schenck from Sayville was arrested in Sayville on a charge of robbery.
  • Lisa Larkin from West Sayville was arrested in Brentwood on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and criminal possession of a controlled substance on Feb. 14.
  • Matthew Filazzola from Sayville was arrested in Sayville on Feb. 15 on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
  • Islip resident Jade Elektadler was arrested in Sayville on a charge of driving while intoxicated on Feb. 15.
  • On Feb. 16, Jason Lowth from Sayville was arrested in Sayville on a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
  • On the same day, Jason Lowth from Farmingville was arrested in Sayville on a charge of possession of a hypodermic instrument.
  • Steven Perry from Mastic Beach was arrested in Sayville on Feb. 16 on a charge of possession of a hypodermic instrument.
  • Jason Lowth from Sayville was arrested in Patchogue on Feb. 17 again on a charge of petit larceny.
  • On Feb. 17, Michael Penning from Patchogue was arrested in Sayville on a charge of aggravated harassment.
  • Peter Wade from West Sayville was arrested in Hauppauge on a charge of failure to pay for service on Feb. 17.
  • On Feb. 18, John Antoine from West Sayville was arrested in Oakdale on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
  • Kristie Segreto from Patchogue was arrested in Sayville on a charge of burglary on Feb. 18.
  • On the same day, Padilla Rosario from Patchogue was arrested in Sayville on a charge of burglary.
  • Daniel Cabanas from Sayville was arrested in Sayville on a charge of driving while intoxicated on Feb. 18.
  • Sayville resident Erin Lawlor was arrested in Sayville on a charge of driving while intoxicated on Feb. 19.

  • An incident of harassment on Alfred Street in Sayville was reported to police at 9 p.m. on Feb. 15.
  • On the same night, an incident of criminal mischief on Main Street in Sayville was reported to police at 10 p.m.
  • Police were notified of another incident of harassment on Feb. 15, this time on the Sunrise Highway Service Road in Sayville.
  • On Feb. 17, Police were alerted to two more incidents of harassment on Main Street in Sayville at 5 p.m.
  • A burglary on Wyandanch Road in Sayville was reported to police at 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 18.
