Crime Report: Five Arrests, Five Incidents
A list of recent police activity in Bayport and Blue Point as reported by the 5th Precinct.
This information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Bayport and Blue Point. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All defendant are innocent until proven guilty. Complaints listed are alleged crimes under local investigation.
Arrests
- On Jan. 8, Dana Salerno from Bayshore was arrested in Bayport for disorderly conduct.
- Robert Harvell from Bayport was arrested in Bayport for criminal mischief on Jan. 10.
- Bayport resident Michael Maiorella was arrested in Bayport for physical harassment on Jan. 12.
- On Jan. 14, Donna Lovern from Bayport was arrested in Farmindale for aggravated harassment.
- Victoria Dugre from Medford was arrested in Blue Point for driving while intoxicated on Jan. 15.
Incidents

- An incident of criminal mischief was reported to police on Jan. 9 at 9:30 a.m. on Barrett Avenue in Bayport.
- On the same day, police were notified of an incident of harassment on Barrett Avenue in Bayport just before noon.
- On Jan. 12 at 2 a.m., police were alerted of an incident of harassment on Sylvan Avenue in Bayport.
- A Kensington Avenue resident in Bayport informed police of an incident of aggravated harassment on Jan. 14 at 8 a.m.
- Police were alerted of an incident of grand larceny to a Jeep parked in the Eastern Athletic parking lot in Blue Point on Jan. 14 at 3 p.m.
