B-BP Crime Report: Few Arrests, More Burglaries

A list of recent police activity in Bayport and Blue Point as reported by the 5th Precinct.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Bayport-Blue Point. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions. 

Arrests

  • On Jan. 27, Jonathan Testaiuti from Merrick was arrested in Bayport on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
  • Babylon resident Angela Urbinati was arrested in Blue Point on a charge of disorderly conduct on Jan. 28.

Incidents

  • On Jan. 25, Central Avenue residents in Bayport reported a burglary to police at 11 a.m.
  • Police were notified of another burglary on Lakeview Avenue in Bayport on Jan. 26 at 8:45 a.m.
  • An incident of assault on Terrace Road in Bayport was reported to police on Jan. 27 at 1:15 a.m.
