Why Go: Loughlin Vineyards is located on the picturesque Meadowcroft Estate. Wine tastings are available all day if you want to try some original Long Island wine. Live music is also available on weekends
Long Island's Radio History Exhibit
Where/When: , East Islip; Sept. 17, 2:30 p.m.- 4:30 p.m.
Why Go: The L.I. Radio and TV Historical Society is presenting a series of photos, documents and artifacts about the history of radio in old Long Island. There will also be a slide show presentation about Sayville's Telefunken Station from 1911.

Oktoberfest Hops Garden Party
Where/When: Brickhouse Brewery, 67 W. Main St, Patchogue; Sept. 17, 12 p.m.-5 p.m.
Why Go: Fall is almost here so join friends at the Brickhouse Brewery to taste some of the brewery's own beers and celebrate Oktoberfest! Live music will also be supplied by rock band Memphis Crawl.
