B-BP to Induct New Athletic Hall of Fame Honorees
Ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on Sept. 28 at BBP High School.
Each year, the Bayport-Blue Point School District honors the outstanding contributions that past athletes, coaches, administrators and honorary Phantoms have made to the district’s athletic program and inducts selected individuals into the Athletic Hall of Fame.
This year’s induction ceremony will honor the following individuals and will occur on Saturday, Sept. 28 beginning at 10 a.m. on the campus of Bayport-Blue Point High School:
Tom Stevens – Class of 2003
The 2003 Girls Cross-Country State Championship Team
Greg Green – Class of 1971
Catharine Johan Ryan – Class of 1999
Rob Jackolski – Coach
As this year’s induction ceremony will once again take place during the school’s homecoming weekend, the entire community is encouraged to save the date for the induction ceremony; the homecoming parade, which will begin at 11:30 a.m.; and the homecoming football game against Hampton Bays, starting at 1 p.m.
