Question: Am I the only person who travels across Brian's Bridge on Middle Road who is wondering whats going on? The construction began several months ago with utility work. Then they closed the north lane and put up the traffic lights. The work does not seem to be progressing. I am not a bridge builder, and am not being critical, but is their an estimated time of completion? What exactly are they doing? What was wrong with the old bridge? Will the new bridge be a drawbridge? Will their be a safer section for crabbers and fishermen? How about a tunnel...or chunnel? Will there be a toll? Did the town hire a firm that has experience in this type of work? I just want my ole bridge back!!
