Dig Into Reading Summer Reading Club at the Bayport-Blue Point Public Library

The public library cares about your children and has planned programs to keep them reading and learning all summer. This summer’s reading club theme, “Dig Into Reading!” will explore the wonders of the “underground”. We often overlook what’s right beneath our feet. This summer join us as we explore our natural resources, fossils, the wonders of caves and subterranean animals. So dig in and uncover some great books and fun programs at the library this summer.

Register children from 12 months through 5th grade. Record the books you've read on your reading record. Bring in your reading record each week to receive a prize, sticker, a tattoo and a weekly raffle ticket. Our Summer Reading Club Carnival will take place on Saturday, August 17th at 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Rain date: August 18th at 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The carnival will be held behind the Blue Point Fire Station. Call the library for more information 363-6133 ext. 6
