Founded in 1916, St. Joseph's College is an independent, coeducational liberal arts institution of higher learning.…More The 25-acre land that the Long Island campus resides on in Patchogue was acquired by the college in 1978. The campus resides along Lake Patchogue, and can be easily found off of Sunrise Highway and Waverly Avenue. The campus also houses the Clare Rose Playhouse -- a former cottage converted in 1985 which houses the college's theater program that holds productions for the community throughout the year.
The college offers more than 23 undergraduate majors, nine master's degree, and several certificate programs designed to enhance careers skills or be combined with a major. The college also offers enrichment programs for children on the weekends during the school year and summer.
