I am glad that the district is looking into this and I think it is something that is long over due.Read More We have a tremendous Athletic program, thanks to Tim Mullins and our coaching staff and of course our outstanding athletes, who deserve fields like their opponents have. It is truly embarrassing for our players, and as taxpayers, the condition our fields have deteriorated over the last year. This is no reflection of our maintenance or custodial staff, as budget cuts and restrictions have made it impossible for the district to maintain a adequate staff in either of these departments. The use for the entire community will be tremendous as well. I think the cost savings in the long run will be tremendous and applaud any and all efforts made to bring our Athletes the level playing fields they bring themselves too!

I would love to have turf fields at BBP. Sometimes even before the official start to the season,Read More the soccer and lacrosse fields are completely dirt in front of the nets and cages. The ground develops a dip where the keepers stand, kids have sprained ankles by stepping into those holes.
