James Wilson Young Middle School is located north of Montauk Highway, between Sylvan and Barrett Avenues. The only middle school in the Bayport-Blue Point school district, it offers a variety of clubs, organizations and sports and is known for involving parents in the academic achievement of their children through tracking homework and frequent parent-teacher conferences.
