Connetquot River State Park Preserve

From flying squirrels to huckleberry bushes to the occasional bald eagle, the Connetquot River State Park Preserve is a home to hundreds of animal and thousands of plant species. Trails for cross country skiing, hiking and horseback riding are available. Fly fishing is allowed here and there are 23 miles of blazed hiking trails. Hundreds of children enjoy nature tours and classes provided by the park staff each year.
