Don't let the weekend go by without having some fun.
With just a bit over two weeks until the first day of school time's getting short to crunch in more fun as summer comes to a close.

Friday, August 23
A Visit From the Reptile ManDon't miss a chance for the kids to see some reptiles up close. It happens at the last Family Friday event at The Common Ground in Sayville starting at 6:30 p.m. and it's free.
A Summer Retrospective
Sketchbook Studio on West Main Street in Patchogue is having the program from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Get Outside & Watch a Movie
A free outdoor movie night will take place at the Country Fair Entertainment Park. Film starts at 7 p.m.

How EMFs Impact the Human BodySouth Bay Wellness is hosting a free program on understanding electromagnetic fields and how they impact people's lives. In this class, you will learn what EMFs are and how you can protect yourself and your family from them. A 20% discount will be given to Q-disc purchases at the event. Seafood Festival
The annual and ever popular Seafood Festival hosted by the Long Island Maritime Museum in West Sayville takes place both days of the weekend, starting at 10 a.m. each day. There's also terrific music and live performances from the area's best bands including headliners Evolution, a tribute to Journey and NYC country sensation Travis & The Longhorns. Free parking and shuttles available at Baymen Avenue
Soccer Complex, and Oakdale & Sayville train stations. There is NO parking on site.
