Find Out Who's Buried in Town, Library Board Meeting, Shopping Event

Sayville high school play, great fundraiser for local American Legion.

With just under three weeks before the Thanksgiving holiday, there are many programs and events happening between Blue Point and West Sayville.

To help readers keep up and not miss anything fun, informative and important, Patch offers up the weekly agenda:

Monday, Nov. 11
Veterans Day is observed.

Tuesday, Nov. 12
The Sayville Library will host a Community Bridge event at 7 p.m.

There is a Microsoft Excel for beginners class at the Sayville Library at 7 p.m.

The Sayville Library Board will meet at the library at 7 p.m.


Wednesday, Nov. 13
The Sayville PTA Mini Mall Shopping Event is happening from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Sayville Middle School.

Thursday, Nov. 14
The Sayville Board of Education will hold its monthly meeting, at 8 p.m. at the administration building.

Blue Point Historian Gene Horton presents a slide presentation about the many notable personages buried in Suffolk County cemeteries at the Sayville Library from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

There is a senior fitness class at 1 p.m. at the Sayville Library.

There is a Tupperware fundraiser at the Sayville American Legion Post 651 on Foster Avenue in Sayville starting at 7 p.m. and 40 percent of proceeds will be donated to the Post. 

Friday, Nov. 15
The Sayville High School production of “Play On” will be performed at the High School at 8 p.m. and also on Sat. Nov. 16
