The Lion Bots, coached by Jonathan and Cara Spier,  had an outstanding showing and SEED was happy to help donors support them in their endeavor.

SEED also worked behind the scenes with funding for the Excellence in Education Dinner, an annual event that honors outstanding teachers and administrators selected by district students demonstrating the highest levels of achievement.

SEED congratulates Aoife Mahood, BBP senior and this year’s winner of the SEED Founder’s Award, which was presented at this year’s Senior Awards Ceremony.

This year’s  $500 SEED Founder’s Award was dedicated in the honor of the late Edward Draffin and was funded only through contributions made by the SEED board.

The Founders Award honors the student who best described by essay, the needs and benefits of educational enrichment for students in the Bayport Blue Point School district based on their own experiences within the district.
