Dominic Perniciaro, a Sayville ninth-grade student and member of the school wrestling team, wanted to get his head shaved to show his support for St. Baldrick’s and his mother Christine, a breast cancer survivor.
Perniciaro was unable to attend the Eastern Suffolk BOCES St. Baldrick’s head shaving event at Milliken Technical Center due to a conflict with his wrestling schedule. He made special arrangements to come to the ESBOCES barbering shop at MTC to have his head shaved by Adult Education barbering student Kristen Curto.
