Sayville Chamber Launches Interview Talk Show on YouTube

Sayville Inn owner Pam Raymond is hosting the weekly video talk show program.

Want to keep up with Sayville Chamber events? Meet local shop keepers, community activitists and volunteers? Residents can do all that courtesy of a new online weekly talk show produced by the Greater Sayville Chamber of Commerce's marketing committee.

The video interview program, called "Pam Talk" is geared at letting people know about local businesses, the people behind them, the beauty of Sayville and its many community organizations and volunteers.

It's hosted by Sayville Inn owner Pam Raymond and filmed by Spelman Studios. The debut was this week and Raymond interviewed Alina Rossi, of Sayville.com, who is spearheading the Sayville's Got Talent program. The second video, posted online this week as well, features an interview with Barbara Whitbread, who runs the chamber's marketing committee, and owner of Seafarer, a nautical giftshop that opened on South Main Street in 2005 that features both Whitbread's artwork and jewelry creations and local artists' work.

In her opening monologue of the Rossi interview she asks viewers to watch and "help us become stars" and "go viral," admitting with a laugh she has no idea what that means and that it sounds like some sort of virus.

"If I need to get a pencillin shot you'll have to take it as I'm allergic," she tells viewers with a big smile.
