The Islip Town Board Tuesday approved an agreement with Every Child’s Dream, which runs the summer farmer’s market on Saturdays, to relocate the 1940 Oliver tractor to the new market site at Islip Grange on Broadway Avenue. The move is being made so that youngsters can have the opportunity to climb on the equipment and get a look at historic farming equipment.
The tractor will be relocated back to its original stead after November 17, according to the town agreement.
