Yes, it's the first Monday after the final day of school and to keep kids reading through the summer the Bayport-Blue Point Library is kicking off its Summer Reading Club Kickoff Celebration, called "Dream Big Read," today at 11 a.m.
The reading club will explore the wonders of the "night" through stories, crafts, music, dance and other activities.
Registration for the summer reading club begins following the kickoff celebration.
The Reading Club kickoff will feature "Listening with Your Eyes" with Chip Bryant, a vaudevillian silent clown. Puppets, mime, magic and audience participation.

Kids of all ages can participate. All they need is a library card.
