Farm Stand Offers Bayport Residents Fresh Eggs, Veggies
No need to head out east if you need fresh corn.
Decades ago there were farm stands everywhere but the numbers dwindled over the years but Bayport is now home to a new one, just south of the intersection of Bayport Avenue and Montauk Highway. Tomatoes, corn, and even fresh eggs are available and reasonable in cost. It's a handy place for week day shoppers given the other local option, the Sayville Farmer's Market is only open on Saturdays, on Broadway Avenue, just north of Montauk Highway at the Grange.
