Baseball, softball eliminated in county finals.

The Golden Flashes were League VI regular season champions, and were 21-4 overall.

Softball: Sayville's softball team also enjoyed a fair amount of success this spring, earning the second seed in the Section XI Class A playoff bracket. Unfortunately for them, they met Long Island's all-time strikeout leader, Lindsay Taylor, in the finals and were quickly dispatched in two games.
