Sayville Sailor in the Lead at Sperry Top-Sider Regatta

Sayville's own Brian Elliot is in the lead after the first day of racing at the Sperry Top-Sider Natiional Offshore One Design Regatta in Annapolis.
According to a Baltimore Sun article, Elliot sailed B Squared in the 49-boat J/70 class in four races Friday and now has 19 points. The J/70 sail boat is the most popular boat entry in the race.
Sailing in the 15-class Regatta resumes today and completes on Sunday. To track racing results click here. Competition continues Saturday and Sunday.
