Baseball: A pair of victories over Hampton Bays this week nudged the Phantoms past the 10-win threshold and into the Section XI playoffs, as they finished 10-8 in League VII. Jack Piekos led the way offensively in the team's last game, going 4-for-4 with a home run and two RBI.
Softball: After breaking a four-way tie for first by on Monday, the team fell 4-1 to Mt. Sinai on Thursday afternoon. The loss tied them with Mt. Sinai for the top spot in League VII at 14-3. However, since two of the team's three losses have come at the hands of Mt. Sinai, they lost the tiebreaker and are in second place.
Boys Lacrosse: The boys lacrosse team lost a back-and-forth affair to Eastport-South Manor in their final regular season game Saturday, 11-10 in overtime. After trailing 7-2 at halftime, the Phantoms stormed back and forced extra time, but Ryan Curley's goal won it for the Sharks shortly there after. They will await the winner of John Glenn and Mt. Sinai and will play on June 1 at Stony Brook University.

Girls Lacrosse: Generi and Stickney were at it again this week, as the girls lacrosse team floored John Glenn on Monday. The duo had 10 points each as the Phantoms cruised to a 24-15 win. They drew the same John Glenn team in the first round of the playoffs, which will be played at home on Tuesday, May 24.
