Justin Bonsignore secures third career victory in NASCAR series.
Holtsville native Justin Bonsignore secured his first victory in the 2013 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season when he grabbed the checkered flag at the Whitcomb 200 over the weekend.
Bosignore, 23, took the lead at Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, N.H. during the 17th lap and never relinquished it, according to a report in Enterprise News' blog "Track Talk."
According to the article Bonsignore had a slow-going practice session, but stepped it up in the qualifying race. This is Bonsignore's third career victory and first victory on a quarter-mile track since he took first place in 2011 at Riverhead Speedway.
