Little League 'Islip Team' Crowned District 35 Champions
Bayport-Blue Point boys successfully defended the Championship Crown for their division in annual Islip Tournament.
The Bayport-Blue Point Little League's 12-year-old "Islip Team" successfully defended their Championship Crown against Selden/Centereach/Three Village to win their Division for the second consecutive year in the Annual District 35 Islip Tournament.
This year's team was again led by Manager Bob Draffin, with Coach Ken Jones.
For these 12-year-olds, this Championship culminates eight years since their start as kindergarten T-Ballers in the B-BP Little League.

"As a Coach for all those years, I'm very proud of these boys in both the skills they've developed over the years and more importantly, the good sportsmanship they showed on the field," Draffin said. "That is the lesson I hope they carry forward in life.
The Champs pictured in the accompanying photo are Logan Ageloff, Will Bhandary, Zack DePalo, Billy Draffin, Steven Helgans, Ryan Jones, Greg Larsson, Jake Leogrande, Conner Louro, Robert Pierpont, Dylan Rhome and Joe Venero.
