Local Runners Prep For Second Annual Run to the Brewery

In anticipation of the second annual Sayville Running Company (SRC) in January, the folks at SRC will be holding a series of monthly training runs hosted by Sayville’s taverns that serve Blue Point Beer. The Run to the Brewery starts and ends at the Blue Point Brewery.

All runs start at 6:30pm from SRC, 49 Main Street, and finish at a nearby tavern. These are free fun runs (all ability levels welcome) with raffles and door prizes from the Running Company.

October Training Run - Five Points Café

Oct. 20 – Four and six mile runs finish at Five Points Café located next to the Running Co. (at the corner of Main and Railroad Ave.).

November Training Run - Crickets

Nov. 17 – Five and eight mile runs finish at Crickets Restaurant located across from the Running Co. at 98 Main Street.

December Training Run - Portly Villager

Dec. 15 -- Eight and 10 mile runs finish at the Portly Villager located at 261 West Main Street.

All three taverns will provide one free Blue Point Beer to every runner who
participates in this training run.
