Football Team Kicks off Season with Purple and Gold Picnic

Students, parents and coaches gear up for the season.

Sayville High School's junior varsity and varsity football teams are preparing for the upcoming season with practices, scrimmages and pre-season games. 

The teams recently allowed for some fun between practices with the annual purple and gold picnic, which was held at the high school. The event included a barbeque, team pictures and some fun for the players, their parents as well as Coach Robert Hoss and his staff.
