View Presents 22nd Annual Striped Bass Tournament

VIEW, a revamped riverfront destination overlooking the Great South Bay, will host its 22nd Annual Striped Bass Tournament on Tuesday, November 8 starting at 8 a.m.  Every Election Day, hundreds of local fishermen compete to land the biggest “slob” and this year they will have a chance to win a portion of over $30,000 in prize money.  Fishing is from 8 a.m. until the 4 p.m. weigh-in at View.  The day also includes tournament hats, prizes, trophies and raffles and ends with a buffet dinner and open bar from 4 to 7 p.m. The entrance fee is $75 per person and must be paid on or before Monday, November 7. A portion of that fee will be donated to the Artificial Reef Fund and Send A Kid Fishing Program of the Fisherman’s Magazine.  The winner will have his/her name recorded on a trophy with a permanent display at View.
