Senior signs letter of intent to compete in track.

Bayport-Blue Point High School senior and talented athlete Harry Martin has signed a National Letter of Intent with the University of Rhode Island to compete as part of their men’s track team beginning this fall.

Martin, who remains undecided on a major, has expressed an interest in exploring the field of engineering or kinesiology.  He  has been a member of the school’s track team since his freshman year and is one of this year’s team captains.

In addition to his athletic commitments, he is also a dedicated scholar and active in extracurricular activities, including the school’s Science Olympiad and National Honor Society chapter.

Upon graduation, he will have completed five challenging Advanced Placement courses.
