Young Car Wash Workers Entice Local Ice Cream Man Into Fundraiser
Sylvan Avenue elementary students had a big soapy job cleaning the truck.
The Sylvan Avenue Elementary fifth grade class in the Bayport-Blue Point School District recently ran a car wash event to raise money for a class trip and the class graduation ceremony. Parent helpers said the class had a great deal of fun, especially when they enticed a local ice cream man to come in and get his truck washed. The event was organized by a class mom and supported by many parents.
