School Board Candidates Running Unopposed

In this year’s school board election, incumbents Thomas Cooley and Deborah VanEssendelft are running unopposed for re-election.

Over the course of the next month, Patch will highlight important information to educate Sayville residents, who will head to the polls on May 17.

The school board recently adopted the 2011-2012 budget, which stands at $81.77 million, representing a 3.87 percent increase in spending and a tax levy of 7.39 percent.
