Sayville MS Students Remember to Never Forget

School staff, students wore patriotic colors, did flag planting to honor 9/11 victims.

For some, the tragic events of 9/11 happened before they were born, but to commemorate the twelfth anniversary Sayville Middle School Principal Thomas Murray, along with faculty, staff and students wore red, white, and blue this past Wednesday as a tribute to honor the victims as well as to show support for the families.

During morning announcements a moment of silence was held for those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and throughout their lunch periods, the students placed flags on the front lawn with patriotic pride.
