Sayville HS Club Hopes to Make History at National Competition

The history club is one of 232 competing in quarterfinals.

During the National History Bowl Team competition against 23 schools from the NYC and Long Island District, held recently in January, the Sayville High School History Club won three out of the four preliminary rounds elevating them to the quarter finals.

“This accomplishment has made them eligible to represent Sayville at the National History Quiz Bowl Competition in Arlington, Virginia, on April 26th and 27th,” reported Club Advisers Susan Hart and Michael Pace.

Special congratulations go to ninth-grader Jared Begen, eleventh-grader Sean Lorthioir, twelfth-grader Michael Sugarman, and twelfth-grader Matthew Stephan who were members of the qualifying team.

I heard it was a bank some time ago, but I can't imagine which bank would run a construction projectRead More so poorly.
