Sayville Fourth Graders Express What They're Thankful For

“What are you thankful for?” was the poster contest theme for the 2013 New York State Senate Thanksgiving Day Creative Celebration for children in grades K-6. 

During fourth-grade art classes with Mrs. Robin Laxton, Cherry Avenue students  in Sayville were encouraged once again to participate in the New York State poster contest by creating designs reflecting the holiday theme. The following students’ Thanksgiving creations were submitted for consideration:
