Blue Point's Youngest Attend Halloween Ball
The annual Halloween-themed event at 'Boo' Point Elementary 'Ghoul' attracted more than 100 families.
A little green man, Frankenstein and several princesses roamed the halls of Blue Point Elementary School last week for the PTA’s annual Halloween Ball Family Fun Night.
The PTA pre-sold tickets to 100 families and were expecting more ghosts and goblins at the door. Blue Point PTA transformed the school into a Halloween wonderland.
Meredith Lessing, Blue Point PTA co-secretary Halloween Ball chairperson, said the event is a big undertaking.

As guests arrived, the spookies started on the lawn and continued inside the school. With a DJ spinning a soundtrack of haunted tunes in the gym, the children visited different "game stations" set up for the event. Old movies played at the "Spooky Serenade", kids created Halloween projects in the craft room and the traveled through a glowing hallway. All evening anyone could cast a vote for best costume with a prize of a Friendly’s gift card for 10 winners.
