Phantoms Track State Championship-Bound

Fifteen members of the boys and girls spring track teams performed impressively at the State Qualifier meet for Section XI last weekend, qualifying for the State Championship.

The athletes- five boys and nine girls- leave Thursday for the championship, which takes place Friday and Saturday at Caledonia-Mumford High School, Caledonia New York (near Rochester).

Girls lax coach Vin Ungaro said some of the spring track standouts are ranked at the very top of the state.
