The team is dedicating this game in the memory of their friend's younger sister, Carly LeStrange, a student at Academy who lost her battle to cancer in June 2011.

Phantoms football quarterback Bailey Imbo's mother has set up a facebook event to inform residents about the dedication of the game and to request that they join the team's effort to remember Carly by putting a little bit of sky blue in their uniform.

In honor of Carly, the players will be placing a sky blue letter "C" on their helmets and changing their laces to sky blue for the day as well. On the event page Donna Imbo wrote "Please join us by wearing a little bit of light sky blue at Homecoming to remember our little peanut Carly." As of Friday, 182 people are participating, according to the Facebook event page.
