"Focus on Human Resources" Workshops


 The School of Professional and Graduate Studies at St. Joseph's College is scheduled to host a series of workshops focusing on workplace issues entitled: "Focus on Human Resources." All sessions will be taught by SJC faculty.

The four-part series of human resources workshops include:

  • October 1 – "Using Social Media at Work" presented by Carl Nappi
  • November 12 – "Facing Economic Challenges from Inside: Maintain Morale and Build a Great Work Environment" presented by Robert Micera, S.P.H.R.
  • March 25 – "Discipline Counseling/Conflict Resolution" presented by Paul Munoz, Ph.D.
  • April 15 – "Ethical Dilemmas in Human Resources" presented by Elena Dundon, E.M.B.A.

Each workshop will take place between 8:30-11 a.m. in the Shea Conference Center located in O'Connor Hall on the Long Island Campus of SJC. Sessions can be used toward re-certification for those individuals who have already received P.H.R. or S.P.H.R. professional certification. 

There is a registration fee of $15 for each session, which includes a continental breakfast. Registrants can pay for three sessions and receive the fourth session for free. For more information or to register, call 631.687.1244 or e-mail jpetrone@sjcny.edu
