Assemblyman Al Graf To Visit Library

New York State Assemblyman Al Graf (R, C – Holbrook) will join Bayport-Blue Point Library Director Mike Firestone for a tour of the Library and to download an e-book onto his IPAD.

The Bayport-Blue Point Library has more than 13,000 e-books and audio books available for download through the Suffolk County Library System’s Live-brary (live-brary.com) online service. The downloadable e-books are free, but you do need a library card to use this service. In addition, the Library can only lend out the number of e-book copies they purchased, just like the hardcover books on the shelves. If the e-book you want is currently unavailable, you can reserve it and will receive an alert when it becomes available. You also do not have to worry about overdue books with an e-reader. The e-book will automatically return itself when the lending period is over.
