Legislator Lindsay and The WTC Program are sponsoring a free film screening of 9/11: An American Requiem, an oral history of our heroes, the 9/11 responders. It is on Wednesday, September 14, beginning at 7 pm. Also, Dr. Benjamin Luft will be selling and signing copies of his book, “We’re Not Leaving!” This is a compilation of powerful first-person narratives told from the vantage point of World Trade Center disaster workers—police officers, firefighters, construction workers, and other volunteers at the site.
