District PTAs Organize Events for Students and Community

This weekly column will spotlight the Parent-Teacher Associations in the district with articles, interviews and photographs.

A Parent-Teacher Association is an organization where parents, teachers and administrators all work together for the benefit of the students. With a PTA for every school in the Bayport-Blue Point School District, it can be tough to keep track of all the events. This new weekly column provides residents with information on PTA happenings, and highlights the efforts of the organization to enhance the community through events that are fun, educational and charitable.

Here is what is planned for the upcoming week.
