D'Angelo Elected For Second Term

Board of Education Trustee Diane D'Angelo to serve another three-year-term.

It was a close race for the Bayport-Blue Point Board of Education Tuesday, with only 245 votes separating the two candidates up for Carol Cinelli's seat.

Diane D'Angelo came out ahead with 1,296 votes, and was reelected for her second three-year-term with the board, which she will begin serving in July. Rita Palma was close behind with 1,051 votes.

With a new term comes what are sure to be more difficult decisions for D'Angelo and the board, but she is looking forward to it.
