Academy Kids Research Chinese Culture
Third graders celebrate the Year of the Dragon by learning about China's art, language and customs.
Third-grade students in Nicole Greco’s class at Academy Street Elementary School in Bayport-Blue Point said, “Gung Hay Fat Choy!” as they celebrated the Year of the Dragon and the Chinese culture. They researched China’s art, language and customs, learning how to use chopsticks and tasting different kinds of Chinese food. It was “Hen hao!” (Very good!)
