Interested in learning about Catholic history after the recent naming of the new Pope?
St. Joseph's College in Patchogue is holding a lecture Thursday in their "Vatican II - 50 Years Later" series.
Thursday's lecture is titled "Women In Ministry" and will be given by Phyllis Zagano, Ph.D., who according to a release from the college is an internationally acclaimed Catholic scholar and senior research associate and adjunct professor at Hoftstra University.
The lecture is free and open to the public. It will start at 7:30 p.m. Thursday night in the McGann Conference Center.
