Board of Ed Presents Citations for Musical, Academic Achievements

The Sayville Board of Education recently presented citations to two dozen students for musical ability and academic achievement.

At the Oct. 13 meeting, Principal Ronald Hoffer acknowledged the following All-State musicians: Patrick Andrews; Craig Davidson; Kieran Harrison; Matthew Iovino; Michael LaPinta; Denise Natoli; Kailey Schnurman; and Kyle Tieman-Strauss.

The following students were recognized as AP Scholars with Honors. This means they received an average score of 3.25 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. They are: Robert Arrasate; Tiffany Bruno; Stephen DelGaudio; Julianna Fiorillo; Andrew Fisher; Daniel Nolan; Gabrielle Pacia; Justin Rippert; Julia Sergison; Christopher Siracusa; Kelsey Truglio; and Jesse Weaver.

Three students were designated AP Scholars with Distinction. They received an average score of 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. They are: Patrick Andrews; Alexis Brown; Caitlin Donnelly; Jacqueline Kalomiris; Jeremy Mayrose; Courtney Mignone; Anna Mizzi; and Erica Weinberg.

The following students are AP Scholars, meaning they received scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams (not present at the meeting).
