B-BP Elementary Robotics Team Holding Fundraiser Friday
The new robotics club is compromised of students at Academy Elementary.
The Lion Bots are attempting to raise a goal of $15,000 by May 10 to help fund the First Lego League Lion Bots Robotic Team.
This team is comprised of fourth and fifth grade students currently attending Academy Street Elementary School in Bayport. They are headed to a national competition this May after just one year of team participation.
In an attempt to help finance the trip, the team is hosting a Fund Raiser at the Sayville Bowling Lanes on Friday, April 26th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. During the event, we plan to have a chinese auction and a 50/50 raffle along with other big ticket raffles.
Tickets can be purchased prior to the event and at the door. The cost is $20 per person for two games of bowling and shoes.
