B-BP Elementary Classes Celebrate Grandperson's Day

Sylvan Avenue Elementary School kindergarten through second-grade students showcased their literary and artistic talents this April when the school hosted its annual Grandperson’s Day.

Hundreds of adoring family members filled the classrooms to admire the students’ imaginative writing and colorful artwork before attending a musical performance in the cafeteria. Following the theme of “circus,” each grade sported artistically crafted hats and sang songs about different aspects of the circus.

Students presented their guests with creative artwork and poems and treated them to circus-themed musical performances.
