Bayport-Blue Point Elementary Students Help Make Wishes Come True
Students' letters to Santa helped raised money for Make-A-Wish Foundation.
All elementary schools in the Bayport-Blue Point School District participated in a special program this holiday season.
As part of Macy’s Believe campaign, students are being asked to write letters to Santa and deposit them in the designated box at their school. For every letter received, Macy’s will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
It is estimated that for every 7,500 letters Macy’s receives for this program, one wish will be granted for a sick child this holiday season.
