Bayport-Blue Point Students Earn Advanced Placement Honors

School district announces 69 students designated Advanced Placement (AP) Scholars.

The Bayport-Blue Point School District announced that 69 students have been designated as Advanced Placement (AP) Scholars. The Advanced Placement Scholar Awards recognize high school students who have demonstrated college-level achievement through AP courses and exams. In addition to the student receiving an award certificate, this achievement is acknowledged on all AP score reports that are sent to colleges the following fall.

AP Program offers a variety of courses that engage students in intense discussions, problem-solving concepts and collaborative activities. In addition, AP college-level courses and exams give students the opportunity to earn college credit and priority placement so that they stand out in the admissions process.
